ABOUT ME
I'm Carol Fordham, a counsellor trained in integrative therapy and qualified with a diploma in 2017, professionally accredited with BACP and trained in EMDR therapy. I previously worked in public health for 6 years commissioning children's mental health services. and prior to that in youth justice for 13 years leading on restorative justice.
I currently work within a university mental health service supporting students

I bring a wealth of experience of working in public service and have 4 years of voluntary sector experience, I'm a qualified mediator, probation officer and manager with a diploma in social work and MA in applied social studies. I have experience of working therapeutically with people with a range of concerns related to trauma and loss, attachment and relationship issues, addictions and mental health disorders. I am trained and experienced in using EMDR trauma therapy to process memories and gain new insights and meanings that can be transformational.

I am based in Sheffield and work in person or online

Free on street parking is available

My premises is close to tram and bus stops

There are a couple of steps up to my front door and unfortunately there is no wheelchair access
